The Australian 9ct Solid Gold range is certainly made to last- a lower carat means high durability, and the ability to truly last a lifetime.

Sterling Silver, Gold-fill and Rose Gold-fill are also metals made to withstand wear!

What are gold and rose gold fill? A metal core with precious metal bonded over the top, creating a much more durable material than the cheaper and thinner counterpart, plated metal.

It is important to remember that I handcraft each and every piece, so it is to be expected that no two pieces will be exactly the same, particularly when it comes to the pearl range where each freshwater pearl may be a slightly different size or shape. Although I measure twice and stamp once, your personalised piece may not always be micrometer perfect, and this is not considered a fault.

These pieces are made to be loved and worn, so with general wear you may find they lose their lustre overtime. However, a quick rub with the included polishing pad will bring the shine back to your personal piece! This polishing pad should be used dry and until completely black.

Do not use the polishing pad on freshwater pearls; to clean, simply gently wipe over with a cloth to remove any dirt.

To prolong your jewelleries life, it is best to remove when showering, swimming or applying any products to your body (lotions, perfumes etc), however you can still wear it! It may just need a clean a bit quicker than if you were to remove it.

Please note the rose gold chain is very fine! Although these pieces have been toddler-tested (pulled and pulled and pulled..) they still need to be treated with care. I would recommend removing for sleep to avoid accidental breakage!
